Jean was one of the nicest people I have ever known.  We first met in kindergarten at Franklin School.  She and her sisters lived across the fields on Beech Hill from my house.  Growing up we would often play together with the Slanetz'.  She was taken from us far too soon.

You are right Ed.  It was very tragic and happened down in my neck of the woods,  on the Court House steps in Northampton, MA.

You're so right, Nancy and Ed, Jean was simply a good and caring person, literally to her core! I was fortunate to spend quality time with all three Hosmer girls; Jean, Carol, and Peggy, often riding horses at their home on Peg Shop Road, along with hiking various trails, even Mt. Monadnock!

Our daily lives would be more enjoyable if those we encountered and all of us approached life and people with the gentle spirt and sincere thoughtfulness and kindness that Jean gave to all people she encountered!

You are missed Jean; God Bless You!
