David was my first best friend.  He lived five houses down Chapman Road.  We were inseparable for years even though we went to different schools after kindergarten.  Our lives took very different paths, but whenever we got together after KHS we would always talk for hours about what we were doing, politics, or you name it.  Miss you old friend.

One of my fondest memories of spending quality time with Dave was stopping unannounced into his very ssuccessful and charming restaurant in Portsmorth. NH, after driving from Boston, for a one day break from law school!

With our parents being close friends, I got to know Dave, Dianne, and Jack, along with their wonderful parents. Norma and Bill, and I spent many enjoyable days at their home on Chapman Road, where we always went to pick our family's Christmas tree.

Even though Dave's restaurant was crowed and busy that Saturday afternoon, kind soul that he was, especially with schoolmates and childhood friends from Keene, Dave put my girlfriend Candace and me at a prime ocean view table, and came and sat with us three or four times, as we chatted about our parents. siblings, UNH, loved ones. the restaurant world, law school, and other assorted topics, despite Dave's many responsibilities running his restaurant.

Dave's spirit was gentle and true! God Bless you Dave!
